Financial Literacy For Kid$
We are empowering 4th and 5th-grade students to become financially responsible teenagers and adults. We believe that by disrupting biased financial ecosystems and creating institutional access for students of color, we can help eliminate the persistent generational wealth gap.
Empowering Young Minds Through Financial Education
Financial literacy is the key to a brighter future for our youth. That’s why we’re empowering students with the skills and knowledge they need to make sound financial decisions. Did you know that kids with savings accounts are six times more likely to go to college and four times more likely to own stocks? We know that kids who learn to save and invest early are more likely to achieve their financial goals in life. We are passionate about providing students with a financial education at a young age because we believe that financial literacy is the key to closing the racial wealth gap. But we also know that the financial system is stacked against students of color. The typical white family has eight times the wealth of the typical Black family and five times the wealth of the typical Hispanic family.
